35 Down, 5 to go! We climbed Table Rock yesterday. We went with our brother, Jared and his wife, Stephanie, plus, our sister, Teri, and our brother, Eric, and our niece, Julianne. Quite a group! Eric had not climbed it since he was 12 years old and he is now 48! Julianne had never climbed it and we were not sure if she would make it up. Melinda pushed her the last few yards up to the top, but she did it. It was great that they could do it together. Table Rock is probably the most difficult hike that we have done. There are two different trails you can take, Huckleberry Canyon and the Face Trail. The Face Trail is very steep, but only 4 miles, whereas Huckleberry Canyon is 7 miles. We chose to go up and down the Face Trail. You gain 4,000 feet in elevation which is why it is difficult. The Triangle Rock is our landmark before we start up the last tortuous ascent. After that, we usually don't feel like taking pictures until we get to the top. There were many other groups on the trail as well and we saw many people that we knew.

I didn't mention the cold because we were hot on the way down. Plus, you were on top a lot longer than I was!

Melinda forgot to mention that she and Elisa were incredibly patient! She had to push Julianne up but they both almost had to carry me down!
