Packsaddle Lake was our destination for hike #11. The hike is 2.7 miles (or could be 5 miles if you only have a car and not a 4-wheel drive vehicle). We have an SUV and drove an extra mile up the extremely bumpy road to begin our hike. You hike up to a ridge with a great view of the Tetons and then hike back down to get to the lake. It is a beautiful hike and no one else was around. The only negative about the hike at all is the mosquitoes which seemed to be in abundance at the lake. There is also a rope you can swing out over the lake to use. It was a little cold for us to get in the water (around 50 degrees), but have done so in the past. Packsaddle Lake is also another place you can camp at, plus many will ride their ATVs to the lake. There is another trail to the lake that comes in on the other side, but we have never come that way.
